Actor Katherine Heigl is opening herself about her experience of being born into the "white bubble" and how this revelation has affected the way she parents her adopted multiracial children. In an interview, the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy", actress revealed her looks didn't bother her. But after speaking to her adopted sister in South Korea about how society was treating them, she became conscious of the differences they were. "I inquired of Meg how she was that she was treated differently when going out with us parents than when she went out by herself. She replied, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl addressed Parents about how she realized the naivety of her actions. Heigl admitted she became upset and believed it was crucial to put her anger on helping her adopted daughters. Heigl is the mother of a 4-year-old son who is married to her 13 year old husband, Josh Kelley. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), an adopted daughter of South Korea, and Adalaide (8, a black child) in the year 2012.
