Richard Bruce Cheney, son of Richard Herbert Cheney & Marjorie Lauraine Dickey was born on 30 January 1941 in Lincoln Nebraska. As a 13-year-old, Richard Bruce and his family moved from Nebraska to Casper (in Wyoming, the State of Wyoming) in Wyoming, where his father worked as the Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's land conservation districts.
