Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kannakaredes was born in New York City. She has played Dr. Sydney Hansen (NBC) as well as the character Dr. Lane Hunter (The Resident), both medical dramas, on television. Also, she was praised for her breakthrough television debut in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap show Guiding Light.
