Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress who has been praised for her lead roles in numerous television series and for her enthralling performances in movies. Both Canadian as well as American Television are avid fans of Emily VanCamp. Emily first became interested when she saw her sibling Katie performing in a film. After Emily discovered her passion for acting, she began training in acting classes and went to auditions. She began with some commercials however, she was eventually cast as a child actor in the Canadian television horror show Are You afraid of the dark? It was the only scene in which she did not speak. In the year she turned 15, Emily got her biggest breakthrough when she was made a regular of the WB Television show Glory Days. Emily's acting was noticed by Greg Berlanti even though the show came to an end after just nine seasons. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular character on Everwood. Also a ballet dancer and photographer, Emily was featured as a Teen as one of the top actresses under the age of 20. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 placed Emily at number 51.
